"Secanje" is the one, and it's taken me a long time to get
hold of this rarity, some copies having surfaced recently. Gorgeous,
deep, mid-tempo percussion-laden fusion with gliding Fender Rhodes &
soaring horns.

Currrently, I'm majorly digging the cool, acoustic, guitar-led bossa
rhythms of "Le Baron", complete with strong melodic flute
lead. "Melancolie" is a dreamier cut, more atmospheric and
drawn out, but with a tight flute solo keeping it all together beautifully.
"7 Rue Decres" brings up the mood again, but gently, featuring
more of that great flute. I know not who Zebaron is, but this LP is
a real surprise!

Fusion outfit Southern Exposure is an Argentine-American band, the brainchild
of Rodolfo Alchourron, a guitarist with definite jazz tendencies. Recorded
in Bronxville, New York and released in Argentina. There's some nice
moments on "Seven Dwarfs" but really it's all about "Cantinho"
- a groovy bossa with catchy female scats and vibes. Hot sax solo!

This is one of those records that rarely comes along...
privately released by this Latin American college and recorded by a
selection of it's finest music students. Nice work all round, the standout
is "Continuous Bass" - and what a tune it is! Latin-fusion, relaxed
but flowing along at a nice uptempo pace underpinned by tight bass and
crisp percussion, topped with flowing fender and memorable horns. Everyone
gets a workout, cool jazzy solos punctuated by the horns in the chorus,
the track builds and builds - the percussion breakdown, when it comes,
is awesome!
